Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Data Scientist (Remote) to lead
machine learning modeling work on their Credit Card product.
Key Responsibilities
Grow user base and increase retention through machine learning and
analytics
Build machine learning models with large scale data sets to address
business priorities
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to
implement models and ensure alignment with business strategy
Candidate Qualifications
BS degree in engineering, computer science, finance, or
mathematics
6+ years of industry experience in data mining, machine learning,
statistical analysis, and/or predictive modeling
2+ years at a bank or FinTech in predictive modeling or credit
analytics preferred
Strong programming skills in Python and intermediate to advanced
knowledge of SQL
Experience with ML packages such as scikit-learn, LightGBM, and
XGBoost
