Job Summary The position of Facilities Manager will manage technicians, contractors and service providers to ensure the Roxtec facility is fully operational with all utilities & systems functioning properly. This position will report to the Operations Manager.Essential Job Functions Manage facility or maintenance technicians while driving a focus on safety, quality and operational reliability of Roxtec facilities, utilities and production equipmentOversee facility and maintenance technicians, ensuring a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and operational reliability of Roxtec facilities, utilities, and production equipment.Ensure the facility is fully operational with all utilities & systems functioning optimally Support the production team in scheduling and managing critical production equipment maintenance, including both planned and emergency maintenanceSchedule, supervise, and verify work performed by subcontractors or trades on building repair and maintenance, including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, septic, fire safety, alarms, landscaping, physical security, utilities, refuse, roof, and building structure.Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs to keep office, shop and warehouse fully functional, this includes preparing facilities for changing weather conditionsCoordinate or perform periodic building & systems inspections with a high attention to detail to identify necessary repairs and cleaningUtilize MaintMaster to track and schedule maintenance-related activities, including key performance indicators (KPIs).Negotiate agreements with contractors and service providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining operational reliability of the facility and systems.Coordinate and lead construction and renovation projects as delegated by ManagementMonitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas including offices, conference rooms, warehouse, shop, parking lots and outdoor spaceEnsure Roxtec Indoor Environment standards are maintained, including lighting, air quality, temperature, and noise, while promoting energy efficiency and savings within the facility Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in all maintenance activities and contractor work.Coordinate the maintenance and stock of required maintenance supplies, materials and toolsPrepare and interpret reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, environmental and other related activitiesProvide excellent service to internal customers, working promptly and diligently to resolve reported or known maintenance issues.Other facility management or reporting duties as requiredRequirements: Requirements Personnel and project management experienceStrong procurement and negotiation skillsKnowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities maintenanceExcellent organizational, problem solving and follow-through skillsKnowledge of OSHA Safety and other environmental regulationsCapable of making independent decisions and work with minimal supervisionGood verbal and written communication skills Computer skills, MS Windows & Office Education and ExperienceMinimum 3 years in facilities management with supervisor responsibilityExperience overseeing subcontractors and trades for building repair and maintenanceHigh School Graduate or equivalentPhysical RequirementsRequired to wear PPE as neededThis position is classified as a safety sensitive positionPhysical Demands (reasonable accommodations may be made, if necessary):Physical Abilities Lift /Carry Stand - Frequently 10 lbs or less - FrequentlyWalk - Frequently 11-20 lbs - Occasionally Sit - Frequently 21-50 lbs - Occasionally Climb - Occasionally over 50 lbs - N/ACrawl - N/A Squat or Kneel - Occasionally Push / PullBend - Occasionally 10 lbs or less - FrequentlyFine Manipulation - Occasionally 10-20 lbs - FrequentlyReach Outward - Occasionally 20-50 lbs - OccasionallyReach Above Shoulder - Occasionally Over 50 lbs - OccasionallyDrive - Occasionally N/A (Not Applicable) - Activity is not applicable to this occupationOccasionally - Occupation requires this activity up to 33% of the time (.25 - 2.5 hrs/day)Frequently - Occupation requires this activity from 33% - 66% of the time (2.5 - 5.5 hrs/day)Benefits In addition to our competitive compensation package, Roxtec offers the following benefits:-- Medical, dental, prescription and vision coverage -- Matching 401(k) -- Vacation, personal time, wellness hours, paid holidays -- Career development opportunities-- Education and tuition reimbursement programs available-- Flexible or hybrid schedules based on position Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.Roxtec is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
