Position: Facilities/ Maintenance TechnicianFocus Area: OperationsRoxtec is seeking an individual for the Facilities Technician position based in Tulsa, OK. The position of Facilities Technician will assist the Operations Department to provide a high level of service ensuring that all utilities and systems function properly. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Job SummaryThe position of Facilities Technician will ensure the Roxtec facility is fully operational with all utilities & systems functioning properly.
Essential Job Functions

• Ensure the Roxtec facility is fully operational with all utilities & systems functioning properly
• Schedule, supervise and verify work by subcontractors or trades on building repair and maintenance including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, septic, fire safety, alarms, landscaping, physical security, utilities, refuse, roof and building structure
• Perform routine maintenance and repair duties as needed to keep office, shop and warehouse fully functional including preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
• Perform periodic building & systems inspections with a high attention to detail to identify necessary repairs
• Negotiate agreements as needed with contractors and service providers being cost conscience while maintaining operational reliability of the facility and systems
• Assist management in overseeing renovations and new construction as needed
• Coordinate with Operations Manager in relocation of our office, warehouse & manufacturing to new facility
• Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas including offices, conference rooms, warehouse, shop, parking lots and outdoor space
• Oversee physical security of buildings and grounds
• Ensure Roxtec Indoor Environment standards are maintained including lighting, air quality, temperature and noise. Promoting energy efficiency and savings in our facility
• Compliance with local, state and federal regulations in all maintenance activities and contractor work
• Maintain stock of required maintenance supplies, materials and tools
• Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, environmental and other related activities
• Be service oriented to internal customers, working quickly and diligently to resolve reported or known maintenance issues
• Other facility maintenance, cleaning or reporting duties as required

  • Excellent mechanical aptitude required
  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities maintenance
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and follow-through skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA Safety and other environmental regulations
  • Solution oriented personality who is customer focused
  • Capable of making independent decisions and possess the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Availability after hours on an emergency basis
  • Good communication skills verbal & written
  • Computer skills, MS Windows & Office Education and Experience
    • High School Graduate or equivalent
    • Minimum 3 years in facilities maintenancePhysical Requirements
