offer.Responsibilities Direct services, workflow and resources for
one or more of the assigned specialty nursing areas:
Cardiovascular/Cath Lab, Surgical Services, Emergency/Triage,
Endoscopy, Adult or Pediatric/NeoNatal Critical Care, Labor &
Delivery/Women & Family.
- Develop departmental goals and objectives consistent with
medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the
health care delivery system.
- Direct clinical activities, including patient assessment, care
plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and
complaint management.
- Prepare and monitor budget(s) and ensure that the assigned
nursing area operates within allocated funds.
- Coordinate and direct internally and externally-driven
audits.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, administration and
directors to develop streamlined operations where equipment,
supplies and staff are utilized efficiently and resourcefully.
- Remove obstacles to achieving clinical quality, service
excellence and financial effectiveness targets.
- Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation
of staff.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or
job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American
Red Cross Accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board
of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
required.Education:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing OR diploma from an accredited
school/college of nursing required.Master's degree OR combination
of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.Work Experience:
- 5 years of experience required.
- 10 years of experience preferred.
- 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
- 5 years of leadership or management experience
preferred.Additional Preferences Master's degree preferred or in
