  • Job Details
  • Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Implements and monitors patient care plans.
  • Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
    • Job Requirements
    • Current Oklahoma RN License required.
    • Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
    • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment.
    • Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required to be completed prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter.
    • Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter.
    • Ascension Core Competencies completed within a year of start and updated yearly.
    • Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding required prior to start.
    • Ascension Skills Checklist to be completed within one year of start; updated annually for specialty.
