Role OverviewSodexo is seeking a General Manager 2 - Food for our unique account, Oklahoma Surgical Hospital, in Tulsa, OK. This account is a specialty surgical hospital located within our Universities segment. This position oversees the foodservice of a 50-bed hospital in South Tulsa, providing room service for patients and catering meals for doctors and staff. Culinary knowledge is needed along with basic computer skills, financial record-keeping, client/guest relations skills, and maintaining high operating standards. While a solid team is already in place, the successful candidate will have experience in recruiting, hiring, training, and motivating team members to provide great quality food and service to the patients and guests.IncentivesWhile some weekend days are occasionally necessary based on staffing levels, this is primarily an 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Friday position.What You'll DoThis position works very closely with the kitchen supervisor on ordering, inventory levels, food quality, food safety, as well as labor scheduling, patient and guest satisfaction, and the financial reporting components of the business, so computer knowledge is important.

• Have oversight of day-to-day operations and deliver high-quality food service;

    • Have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
    • Have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
    • Can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
    • Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
    • Demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Systems and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
