Job Description:
A company is looking for a Billing & Collection Specialist
(Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Maintain excellent customer service and respond to inquiries within
24-48 hours
Collect patient balances, process payments, and review accounts for
accuracy
Document accounts accurately and prepare collections accounts for
supervisor review
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Associate Degree in accounting or business, or a High School
Diploma with relevant experience
Minimum 2 years of experience with an associate degree, or 5 years
without
Experience with medical software programs and Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of office procedures and machines
Ability to demonstrate good judgment and remain calm under
stress
