Job Description:

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 4 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance, and can edit and write Programmable Logic Controller logic, build/edit Human-Machine Interface (HMI) screens and troubleshoot network issues. They also need to be able to replace a variable-frequency drive (VFD) as an upgrade. Be able to remove an obsolete drive (example: AB160 to PF525) and replace it with a newer drive where you can't download the old program to the new drive due to compatibility. Acts as a senior material handling technician on all equipment that is installed at the Jenks, OK site location. Provides assistance and mentors lower-level employees. This is a night shift position 6:00 pm - 6:00 am on a 2-2-3 schedule.

    The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $35 - $39.50 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

    Tasks and Qualifications:

    Join a top-tier team as an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 4 at Dematic Corp. Perform critical tasks using advanced technology, fixing, and maintaining equipment.

    What You Will Do in This Role

    • Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and component lubrication.
    • Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
    • Use electrical test equipment to fix electrical circuitry.
    • Build and close work orders in the asset management system with accurate data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
    • Fix conveyance problems and determine the resources needed to resolve them.
    • Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
    • Perform complex maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
    • Aid in training customers to operate equipment.
    • Respond to service calls to resolve equipment failures and faults.
    • Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.

      What We Are Looking For

      • High School diploma or equivalent experience required; an Associate's degree or vocational technical training preferred.
      • Specialized skill training/certification is a plus.
      • Senior-level knowledge with 5-7 years of experience in a technical or specialty area.
      • Proven experience in the area of responsibility with successful demonstration of key tasks.
      • Ability to maintain professional communications with customer leadership, Dematic leadership, and technicians.
      • Experience leading projects, teams, and advising day-to-day operations and tasks within the maintenance team.
      • Physical capability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
      • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
      • Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
      • Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
      • Adaptability to working conditions including small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, varying temperatures, noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long periods, and wet or uneven surfaces.
      • Strong PLC and electrical background with outstanding fixing capabilities.
